Summon Mission (private)

Ayame was walking out through the gate of Sanringakure no Sato on the nice Monday morning and thought about the morning she had. She woke up in a cold sweat at about five o’clock in the morning and had a horrible dream. She dreamt of her arm being crushed by a sharp object. She couldn’t tell what it was but it heard a deep growl and then a cackle or laugh. After that, Ayame decided she would get up and start off her morning. She sat up in her bed and rubbed her eyes. She slept with her head band off and not covering her Aishado. She sat up and walked over to her closet and looked for a few pairs of clothes for the day. This day she was going on her first mission ever. She was sent to find a certain creature, and to what the creature was, Ayame was not told. She found a few pairs of clothes and she decided on an old black t-shirt, a white shirt, and a red shirt. She grabbed a few pairs of her training jeans and put one of them on along with a red t-shirt. Ayame then walked over to her trunk of supplies. She saw starting taking out and laying on her bed everything she needed. She pulled out all four swords that she owned, Koshiro her suit of armor, and then all of her kunai, shuriken, wire, tags, and other assorted necessities. She then grabbed her armor and started putting it on her body. Her cuirass, gauntlets, greaves, helmet, boots, and other parts were all being put on and assembled onto her body. She left her helmet off and tied her head band around her Aishado so it would not hurt her. Then she put the helmet on her head and began putting her swords onto her armor along with her kunai and shuriken. Yin and Yang she put on her lower back and then Ayame put her swords Pride and Love on her hips and strapped the bottom of the sheaths down to her legs a bit so they wouldn’t hinder her movement. Ayame then looked around and grabbed her backpack with all of her camping gear just in case she stays overnight out of the village. Ayame then made sure she had everything she needed before heading out. Then after that she decided she grabbed a left over bowl of dumplings and ate those really quick then headed out for the gate. Ayame walked with a simple pace towards the gate. Her armor clunking a bit with every step she took and causing bystanders to observe her walking. She saw people start opening up shops while she passed through the market district. Many different shops from blacksmiths, ramen venders, and many others that she would window shop as she would walk by. Ayame was beginning to leave the market district and just walking into a small neighborhood. Ayame then after a good ten minutes or so of walking finally reached the gate of Sanringakure no Sato. The gate she remembered walking through just a few weeks ago. This gate was magnificent and beautiful and Ayame was a little sad to leave, but unlike Hoshigakure, Ayame knew she would return. Ayame showed her papers to the guard and he let her through. Ayame then grabbed a compass and located the direction south and began to head to the Southern Forest. This place was filled with animals and other creatures were rumored to be here. Ayame began to descend the mountain first, walking around the lake, not wanting to get wet or anything, and then finding the rocks and cliffs to descend from to get to the bottom of the mountain. Ayame would have a slip up or two when descending, but she made it down successfully without much failure. When she hit the bottom of the mountain, Ayame grabbed her map and saw she was on the complete opposite side of the mountain of where the Southern Forest. This frustrated her a bit, but Ayame just went with it and started walking around the mountain to the forest. The mountain in the center of the island is quite a large structure so this could actually hinder her mission completion by a day or two. Ayame was walking for quite some time and decided to rest for a while. She thought that she could use a break so she sat her stuff down and removed her helmet releasing her hair from her helmet. She was sweating quite a bit and thought that it was too hot for her to have this length of hair. Ayame then pulled out a kunai and spun it around for a minute or two on her finger. She was contemplating this decision, but it’s just hair and it will grow back. So Ayame grabbed her hair and let it hang to her shoulders and then took the kunai and cut it off right at her shoulders. So now Ayame had short hair and then she threw it down on the ground and picked up her stuff and started walking again. She was walking and just came around and entered the western forest. This was a dark and gloomy kind of place, even in the day time. The forest was overgrown with vines and roots coming from the ground. The trees were short but still caused the forest to be very dense. Ayame found that there were few creatures here and that this would be the absolute worst place to live for any type of animal. She kind of thought about coming back here if she was allowed a team and wanted to train them all. Hmm… the thought of this would be something she would store it in her memory. Ayame walked more and more for a couple of hours until she finally got to the end of the Western Forest. This faded into the Southern Forest and the light started fading through the trees and animals started appearing everywhere. Now all Ayame had to do was find this specific animal that the mission described. Ayame decided to make camp on the outskirts and rest for the evening. She set all of her gear down and took off her helmet and let her now short hair hang down a bit. Ayame then sat down and rested on a tree in the setting sunlight fading down only lighting certain parts of the Southern Forest. Ayame set up her tent and slept that night, with nightmares galore. Ayame dreamed again of her arm being shattered by something only now she heard the creature say in a low voice, “Find me where none seek what they want to find.” Then the creature let loose a loud cackle and Ayame woke up and she instantly got everything packed up and started walking off of the paths people have made in the forest. She walked for hours until suddenly and faintly she heard a laugh coming from the east. Ayame instantly started running east and towards the laughing creature. Ayame then was tackled by a Hyena in the middle of the forest. This hyena was growling and drooling in Ayame’s face. She saw that he was brown with black spots all over his body. His paws were all black and looked dirty from dust and running a lot. He must have been ten feet tall at least so this hyena was much taller than Ayame and he could easily just kill her now. Then he said, “Hello Ayame, my name is Hiroshi. I knew you were coming soon, the exact time I was unsure.” Ayame felt his pressure of pushing down on her let up and she slowly stood up and bowed to Hiroshi. “Hello Hiroshi, so you are this creature I am supposed to make my summon?” Hiroshi responded with, “Yes Ayame, however, there are certain things you must do. First, you must fight me, and win. When I am too tired and weak to continue, I will be your summon. Next, you will have to do a blood sacrifice and perform the seal for me to be called at any time.” Ayame rebottled with, “Okay, I’m in. So when do we start fighting?” Hiroshi then shouted, “Right now!” Then Hiroshi performed some sort of jutsu and another hyena just like Hiroshi appeared right next to him. Ayame pulled out Yin and Yang, and then started by getting in her attack and defense position. This position has one sword held pointing outwards and the other inwards. Her feet were perpendicular and her legs in a very strong stance. Ayame then ran forward towards a nearby tree. She ran straight up the tree and threw Yin at the clone of Hiroshi which burst into a bolt of lightning hitting both Hiroshi and Ayame. This shocked Ayame a bit and she stumbled on the branch of the tree and regained her stance and continued to run towards Hiroshi. Ayame jumped down off of the branch onto Hiroshi’s back. Hiroshi then yelled and started running around and shaking trying to get Ayame off of his back. Ayame dropped her other sword, Yang, and jumped off of Hiroshi then started running for Yang and when she got it Hiroshi was close behind. Ayame began to run when she couldn’t move at all. She looked down and saw that there was water on the ground. She was facing away from Hiroshi when she heard him say, “Ah, it looks like youre stuck little girl. I wonder if you will ever get out of that Ayame.” Then Ayame focused her chakra into the blade of Yang and turned her body and threw it at Hiroshi. Ayame used her jutsu over charge so when she threw it particles of electricity started to fill the area the sword passed through and then stuck right into Hiroshi’s side when he tried to dodge it. He shouted and yelped with pain and jolted forward so Ayame jumped out of her shoes and began to run away while focusing chakra to her feet so she could run. This technique ended up working and she kept running. She could hear Hiroshi behind her and Ayame’s feet were beginning to hurt from stepping on briers and roots. Ayame finally reached Yin and she yanked it from the ground and used a B rank amount of Chakra to shoot out a bolt of lightning at Hiroshi. The lighting cracked and sent out a loud noise in the forest. Birds flew out of trees in all directions and distracted Ayame. The lightning missed Hiroshi and then he jumped forward and grabbed Ayame’s leg with his mouth and threw her into a tree. Ayame heard him yelp so he must have hit the spikes on her armor. She thanked the blacksmith in her mind for putting that there. Ayame’s helmet fell off so she decided to not work with it. Then Ayame made eye contact with the beast and she decided to use it now. Ayame activated her Sendo eye and used her genjutsu to drag this beast through hell. His facial expression went blank so she knew he was in it. Ayame decided to drag this to be killed by Ayame and then a large black hand appeared and pulled him down through the earth forcing him to break through the earth and get cut up by jagged rocks. Then hell was soon to appear. The hand pulled Hiroshi down into hell and threw him into a pit of flames and lava when suddenly; Hiroshi snapped out of it and was back in reality. Ayame was shocked that he got out of it then Hiroshi leaped at Ayame and grabbed her arm with his mouth. Hiroshi was growling and bleeding from his mouth. He must have bit the spike on her forearm then Hiroshi mumbled, “I can break through this metal and crush your arm and you will never be able to use it again.” Ayame quickly punched Hiroshi in his nose with her left arm. The teeth acting like brass knuckles made him squeal and he let go of her arm. Her armor was dinted a little from his teeth but still in use. Then Ayame reached for her head band and pulled it away from her left eye and revealed her aishado. Now she was ready to use it in battle. She looked towards Hiroshi but then he looked away before he could be in anything. It’s not surprising since he knew of the other genjutsu. So then he closed his eyes and jumped at Ayame and touched her with both paws and then Ayame was shocked and started feeling electrocuted. Then she lay flat onto the ground. Hiroshi started to cackle like in her dreams and she knew this could be the end. The jutsu he used must make one paralyzed. Ayame was going to die. She knew it could happen, so she closed her eyes and let it happen. Then she heard a clang and opened her eyes and saw Yin sitting on the ground covered in blood. Hiroshi then said, “You have fought so well Ayame, this has been very interesting.” Then Ayame moved her head upward and looked into his eyes and started to read his very thoughts. She heard him speak of how he is going to let her die. This is all his plan to get her scared then crush her bones. Ayame just closed her eyes and smiled and began to laugh a bit. Slowly she began to feel her arms come back to life so to say. Then her legs started to move. Ayame kept laughing maniacally and looked up and said, “I’m not going to die here.” Then instantly Ayame jumped up and grabbed Yin and used her jutsu Raiton Blade and shot a B rank source of lightning at Hiroshi. This jutsu hit and he fell to the ground and was paralyzed. Ayame continued to laugh then walked up to him and she began to spin her sword in her hand. Then she went up to him and stabbed the sword into his side. Then she took out Pride and stabbed it into him on his leg. Then she grabbed Love and placed it on his neck and said, “So, are you weak and tired so you can be my summon? Is this as far as you will go?” Hiroshi breathed in and out and said, “Yes, just get these swords out of my body.” Ayame laughed and said, “Yes I will.” Ayame walked over to Yin and yanked it from his body, and Hiroshi let out a whimper and then she yanked out Pride. She sheathed all of these swords and walked over to her back pack and grabbed out her first aid kid and started bandaging up his wounds and especially her own. So then Ayame looked down and saw she still had no shoes. So Ayame ran back to her shoes and grabbed her shoes and ran back. Hiroshi was still there just resting from the battle. Ayame then grabbed her tent and set it up. Night was approaching and Ayame knew she would never make it back to Sanringakure today. So Hiroshi and Ayame spent that night in the Southern forest and began to speak of things that will go down soon. Ayame lit a fire around them and began to lay down scrolls so they can begin making the summon. Hiroshi instructed Ayame on the various symbols that were necessary and Ayame saw that they were all leading towards a center circle on the scroll with a small symbol in the circle. Then Hiroshi told Ayame to get out a kunai and cut the palm of her hand. Ayame grabbed a kunai and was slightly hesitant to cutting her hand open but after a little bit Hiroshi said, “Will you just cut your hand open already, and waiting is just ridiculous.” So Ayame slid the kunai across the palm of her hand and instantly it started to sting and the air hitting the cut starting to make it feel as if it were burning then Hiroshi spoke again saying, “Now I want you to place your cut hand on the circle in the middle and use your chakra and blood to sign the contract.” Ayame then instantly placed her hand onto the center and released chakra into her hand and she felt her blood seeping form her wound and being poured onto the scroll along with her chakra. Then she released her hand from the scroll and it was signed. Hiroshi then said, “Now where would you like the seal to be on your body to summon me?” Ayame thought about it for a moment or two of where, strategically, it would be her best bet to place the seal. Then Ayame thought and she would place it on the underside of her left forearm. By doing this she can easily activate the seal to summon Hiroshi at any moment and still be able to fight if she is in the middle of one. Hiroshi and Ayame then tattooed the seal onto her arm and while doing so they began to talk about their lives. Starting with how Hiroshi got onto the island and where his family is. Hiroshi said, “Well I was in Purgatory Country for many years with my brother and mother but one day a few ninja came through and murdered my brother and mother. They were poaching for furs to make fine clothing for their Emperor. It was terrible. They were slaughtered.” Ayame then asked, “Well how did you manage to escape?” Hiroshi replied with, “Well it was in the night and we were hunting for food like always in our usual area for that month. Then I heard a flash and foot steps and I instantly started yelling ‘Get out everyone leave!’ but it was too late. I was already running and my brother and mother were already being killed. I still think to this day if I had just told them earlier that they were coming then they would still be alive today. That’s why I attacked you when I saw you too. I knew you were a ninja and from that day on I told myself I would never trust another ninja. Then I heard of animals becoming summons and decided I would try it out. But I never knew it would be a skilled ninja like you, Ayame” Ayame was shocked. It was such an elaborate story and Ayame decided to help him feel better and told her story. “You see I used to have no one else but my brother too. We were several years apart and then we moved to Hoshigakure and one day. Poof my brother was gone. I haven’t seen my brother in years and he could be dead. I miss him every day along with all of my friends in Hoshigakure. I miss my home and my leader and I know that I will probably never see them ever again.” Ayame looked up to the stars and starting looking at all of the constellations and shed a small tear. She wiped the tear away and took a deep breath and said, “Well I have a busy day tomorrow so I am going to hit the hay. I have to either climb that mountain, or walk all the way around it and take the short way up it.” Ayame then got up and walked over to her tent and with one final goodnight to Hiroshi then Ayame lied down and fell asleep almost instantly. Ayame slept good this night and she woke up at about mid-day and slowly crawled out of her tent and started making a new fire. She was going to boil some ramen and dumplings. It only took a few minutes and then Hiroshi woke up to the smell of food and they both ate a nice meal with some casual conversation. They shared strategic ideas and spoke of politics in the world since they have both traveled a lot. Then Ayame started to pack up her gear and make sure she had everything. She had all four of her swords, her armor she was wearing, and her assorted shinobi gear, and her camping gear was all packed up. Then Ayame suggested something to Hiroshi, “Do you want walk with me back? We can talk and get to know each other more along the way.” Hiroshi said, “Sure Ayame, it sounds fun.” Ayame and Hiroshi then started walking through the Southern Forest towards the Western forest. They spent their time walking and joking around having fun. Every now and again they would stop and spar a little bit in different areas. They were both getting closer as friends and Ayame knew that they would be good friends. After about an hour they reached the Western forest and Hiroshi had never been here so they both decided to take a look around in the gloomy and shadow filled Western Forest. Hiroshi was curious about this mysterious place and was wandering too far off the path and Ayame would constantly get mad at him. They ended up making their way back onto the path and heading back to Sanringakure. It reached nighttime though and it was too dark for Ayame to even see where she was going so Hiroshi decided to carry her on his back the rest of the way. Ayame sat on his back as if he was a horse and they slowly walked the path out of the Western Forest. When they got out, The sun was coming up and it was the morning. Ayame got down off of Hiroshi and they both continued to walk. Finally at almost noon that day, Hiroshi and Ayame reached the mountain side. Time together was coming to a close. Ayame knew this, and so did Hiroshi. Ayame sat down by the ridge she will start her ascension on the mountain. Hiroshi then said, “Ayame, we will see each other again. Don’t be sad.” Ayame then said, “Hiroshi, I want you to be safe. You are the only family I have right now and I don’t want to lose you.” Hiroshi then leaned his head down and Ayame jumped up and gave him a hug. Hiroshi said, “I will see you on another day Ayame, for now I must go.” Then Hiroshi began to walk off into the distance. Ayame watched him until he disappeared in the forest, then she began her climb. It only took a half an hour or so and Ayame was at the lake she passed by not long ago. Then she walked up to the gate of Sanringakure, showed the guard her papers, and passed through the gate back into her home.
