Re: Traveling to the Fire Nation [Oahiz]

It would seem only after about an hour or two Taski, and others would return. Slowly but suddenly, a large raven would glide into view of Taski's companions. Just a few seconds afterwards, a dozen additional birds would follow suit in formation, on their way to the docks. Even the people at the docks were not accustomed to these birds, as most had never seen them before.

The first bird landed, the raven's claws digging into the ground as it came to a stop and curled its wings inward. Isla and Taski appeared to be sitting on the three person saddle, and Isla was the first to slide down onto the ground. After seeing the headbands of the suiton people, she made a slight bow and smiled. "Welcome to the land of fire, I am the Tengakage." She said.

She looked around for Damian Bane, she had sent a messenger for him. He would be her right hand in this operation, as it seemed he has always been recently. It would also be useful to have him with her in case things went south. She looked back up to Taski and waited for him to slide off of the Raven himself, as the other ravens began landing in various spots around the dock with their Otis handlers staying onboard.

Clone Taski would glide back after his meeting with Isla. Landing on the boat, Taski would put a hand on his side and look towards the open waters. He didn't even look towards his shinobi. "I'm back. Tenga's forces were not planning war. Apparently Hyuuga Hodaka acted out on his own accord. However, we'll be needing to rebuild our treaty, and so the first step is to find a suitable island or plot of land that we can begin building an embassy for village relations. We'll be doing this task together, just so our shinobi can get used to each others faces. If all goes well, Kirigakure and Tengakure will once again be on good terms. Stronger than ever." After his small little explanation/speech, the Ourouh would put a hand on the back of his neck while turning away from the group. His mind seemed to be wandering on other things at the moment.."We'll be riding to the new land with a different type of transportation. We'll be going by air."

Hisoka looked at the red haired man as he laughed uncontrollably. Had Hisoka done something of said something funny? He didn't understand why the man had found his retort so hilarious. It surely wasn't intended to be funny. Before he knew it the man had stopped laughing and drew his sword. However, before Hisoka could even lift a finger in reaction, the man was directly in front of him; his slender sword thrusting directly into Hisoka's head. His heart stammered and his mind went blank for a fraction of a second as the blade passed through his skull. His vision became completely white; he had no time to react, no time to even speak, no time to even breathe. Hisoka's eyes were wider than golf balls, his mouth slightly open, his face frozen in shock. More shocked and afraid than he had ever felt in his life.

Suddenly, he heard the man's voice. Hisoka was so deep in shock he didn't know weather he was alive or dead or if any of it was real or not. He simply stood, mouth gaping and eyes wide. It wasn't until the man turned away, phasing the unique sword through Hisoka's face, when he realized that he was still alive and that the sword had not actually passed through his head. It had been some kind of genjutsu? No. It was too quick and there were no hand seals involved. It must be his sword. But how? The young white haired boy could barely think let alone speak to ask these questions of the man. Instead, he leaned against the wooden pillar behind him, letting his shaking legs give out as he dropped into a sitting position. Still in shock, Hisoka did not even realize the Mizukage's arrival or his announcement or his return.

"Keep that boy out of your skull. There is only room for one voice here..The nexsstt time he comes in here, I won't let him leave." Inoshi's mind throbbed suddenly as the beastly voice shuttered back through at him. A function of the jutsu that he had not thought possible. Inoshi was filled with a terrible feeling - that was not the kage that he had just talked to. Inoshi's eyes widened. The voice had been low, mature, and nothing less than evil. What was inside of his kage? What was that immense aura that beat and pulsed through him? What was that voice?

Inoshi's hands flew to his deck box holster, and instantly touched the card on top, uploading all of the information. He did not know much, but he knew that the beast that lurked within the kage was not something that was pure in a stereotypical sense. Something that was fueling him from the inside. Inoshi's curiosity about the boy prodigy only grew. What was he? And who was he? What were the secrets of his life? What had he been through and what was he going through?

Inoshi turned around as soon as he heard the impudent voice of the white haired boy screaming profanities once more. It was not something that Inoshi had never heard before. However, it seemed that the man that was being spoken too stood for less than what Hisoka was used to. This man was an S rank, or at least some extremely powerful faction of the village. Talk about punching some man in half - a man that sounded both esteemed and important. Was it from the last attack on the village that had been cried out by the ANBU that surged through the streets?

Regardless, the man rebutted before, in a flash, he took out his sword, and swiped it at Hisoka. He seemed firm, and his aura flashed with something fearful as well. Inoshi's eyes dropped wide open. Wider than before. Anger infiltrated his system. What the f*** was happening!?

Taking a step closer to the scene, Inoshi looked onto the situation, the look of shock was no doubt apparent on the boy's face. Inoshi's emotions flew in circles. He had never liked the boy, but at the same time, he had always had a connection with him. Teammates, and they knew each other better than others knew them. In a way, Hisoka's loud screaming mouth was fun to be around, and his hot tempered head made Inoshi smile in the most brittle of moments. Who did this man think that he was.

But then, just as Inoshi was about to shout out in protest and despair, he realized that a blow of that magnitude would have caused the boy to fall, or be moved in the slightest what so ever. What was more, no blood had been evident. Inoshi's eyes looked in even closer and he realized that Hisoka was not dead. A small snort of a sigh moved through Inoshi's full lips and he looked down at the ground. He was, for some reason, glad that Hisoka had not just died - although he would never admit that.

Just then however, Inoshi's attention was caught by another thing entirely. So much was happening. A voice, a female voice, sounded in the slight distance. Inoshi spun around. He saw Taski again, and he saw another individual, a female. This was the Tengakage? The leader of this land? Was that possible? Inoshi smiled and instantly added her voice, looks, and speech patterns into his data card on her - a new data card. He also added in the bird that she seemed close to as a possible jutsu like affiliation of some sort.

Stronger than ever."

Inoshi's eyes lit up. Foreign relations was something that he had always wanted to delve into. What with his innate ability to handle different situations, file, and incredibly high problem solver personality type, it would be something that was more than perfect for him. Second to intelligence or interrogation, which was what he aimed to become as soon as he was able to attain the needed caliber to join the ANBU. Inoshi nodded to his Kage, and smiled at him - a smile that meant that he was open eared and eager.

Re: Traveling to the Fire Nation [Oahiz]

Post by Tsurino Kaguya on Mon 30 Jan - 22:55

A loud laughter erupted from Sagumi which took the two younger ninjas by surprise. Tsurino stepped back slightly never having heard his laughter before. It was loud and manic and it startled her as much as what he was laughing at. But the laughter stopped abruptly and left a hollow silence that lasted less than a second. If Tsurino was not watching, if she had blinked for a moment she would have missed everything.

It was all a blur, no, faster than a blur but as though time had folded itself over and his movements were lost to the naked eye. How could a human being move that fast? She was captivated for a moment at the speed in which Sagumi moved. Drawing his blade and impaling the young white haired boy through the space between his eyes, pinning him to the wall.

Then the depth of what he had just done sunk in and her dual colored eyes widened in shock and fear. Hisoka was impaled through the head with the blade held by Sagumi. Her body froze and her breath stuck in her throat. She could have blinked and she would have completely lost what had happened. But he had just killed him! A merciless cut throat slaughter before her eyes. She had never truly liked Hisoka but he was her team mate on this mission and though she had only met him once or twice before. Panic at his death rocketed through her.

"Hisoka-san!"

Tsurino moved as though she was moving to push Sagumi off of him, though the wound would be fatal instantaneously she had to move Sagumi away from him. She was still a medical ninja, for a moment the idea that he was hurt gave the young Kaguya the need to help him. Even if Hisoka was loud, arrogant, immature, and rude human being, he was her teammate and at this moment in time and she could not allow him to die so easily.

But she saw in his face that he was alive, his mouth fell open in shock and horror and his eyes were as wide as saucers. But his heart raced madly in his chest znd the previous horror that was written in her eyes became confusion. It was then she noticed that the sword had seemed to evaporate as it touched Hisoka's skin and became tangible as it left his skull and stabbed into the wooden wall behind him. Her horror then turned to Sagumi. Though the emotion shown in her face was minimal her eyes were wide and questioning. Who WAS he? As the fear that he had just quickly ended the life of one of her temporary teammates began to subside Tsurino regained a calm expression and looked up to Sagumi silently demanding answers. As Sagumi removed the sword from Hisoka's head and turned to disappear into the inner cabins of the ship Tsurino as well turned with the intent on following him. Ready to finally ask him who he was, and why he was here speaking so casually to the Mizukage.

Until a voice, no, multiple voices made her stop and turn to face the bow of the ship. It’s elegant sturdy point facing the heated country of fire. She witnessed the figures walk onto the beach, though unable to make out everything they were saying before the others evaporated with a flock of dark looking birds not native to the ocean landscape, leaving the Mizukage alone on the scalding beach. That certainly was a fast return. Tsurino thought and she grudgingly swallowed her need to ask Sagumi who he was. It would have to wait now that their lord and master has returned.

As the Mizukage returned aboard the ship Tsurino listened to his words, a bit of a relief washed over her. So we are not going to war with Tengakure, that is good. She thought with a small inward sigh. Their world has so much war, and though it was an average part of daily life for a ninja living in Kirigakure. The words that said there would be no war still brought her a moment of peace.

Tsurino listened intently to the Mizu’s words, they would travel to an island to begin an Embassy between Kirigakure and Tengakure. It sounded like a sound enough plan. Meet new faces and improve relations with the Tengakure Shinobi. She gave her leader a nod to show that she understood all that was asked of her before her attention turned back to Hisoka. Who still looked as shaken as he had moments before. She was two feet away from him and turned to face the white haired boy, feeling the burden of dealing with him had now fallen upon her shoulders. She reached out and touched the heated bare shoulder of her loud mouthed companion. She seemed icy in comparison, never having the trouble of staying cool. In fact if anything she had trouble getting warm. Hisoka’s condition seemed the exact opposite.

“Hisoka-san….” Tsurino began, her voice soft and quiet so not to draw attention. She did not know what to say to help ease the panic that he could have just died. She did not know him well enough. “Are you alright?” She murmured softly. It was a silly question since she knew he was certainly not alright. But as the inverted young woman searched her mind she could come up with no other words to say to him.

Re: Traveling to the Fire Nation [Oahiz]

Post by Oahiz on Tue 31 Jan - 0:33

Sagumi’s steps stopped halfway down the cabin as he heard the sound of a large animal landing outside of the ship and his senses remained alert, well, sort of alert. His first reaction when he heard that the individual riding whatever the creature was happened to be a woman was quite similar to his first reaction upon meeting Tsurino, debaucherous and not exactly kind to the woman riding the creature. Of course, from his present position he couldn’t actually see her, so his brain instead fabricated her appearance and any other brain would be hard pressed to even begin to rival his own when it came to fabricating a beautiful woman’s appearance. Well, that was actually far from the truth. As Sagumi went through his little fantasy, donning his image of Tenga’s Kage with gratuitously large breasts and equally disproportionate body parts elsewhere, and zoomed back to look at the finished product, the disproportionate body parts would inevitably force the woman to fall over on a frequent basis. For the remainder of the fantasy, Sagumi sought to stay zoomed in.

Another voice broke his precious concentration though, this one more masculine and more familiar and infinitely less interesting. What he was saying was all well and good; not having to fight a war with Tengakure meant he didn’t just send his leader in to a death trap because the children needed babysat. The problem, it was way too good to be true and Sagumi had seen enough of war to know that this wasn’t a good thing, not in the long run. The fact that she was a woman and that Taski was prone to idiocy only reinforced his suspicions that this peace would be short lived if it even lived; of course, not every many was as easily swayed as Sagumi. Perhaps Taski had more dignity and backbone than Sagumi was giving him credit for. He just doubted it. There was something else going on there, Sagumi didn’t think Taski would drop all hostilities after what Hodaka put them through simply because she said he was acting unsupervised. Sagumi didn’t buy those shenanigans for one second. However, it wasn’t his job to make decisions; it was his job to follow them. With an exasperated sigh, he paced back down below deck and in to the small little room he was designated for his “quarters.” Why did Taski hate him? He dropped to one knee and flicked the small lock with his finger, neatly breaking it off the dingy little chest. He doubted anyone was going to steal it on this journey, but he didn’t want to risk one of the kids playing with it and getting it dirty. The blades of the Seven Swords were meant to be kept tidy after all. Sagumi gently wrapped his fingers around the hilt of the double bladed weapon and pulled it from the chest, taking a quick moment to admire Fukakoryaku before slinging the weapon over his shoulder and safely attaching it to the Cohort’s hilt, ready for travel. The elder boy slid back around and up the stairs in time to see the girl trying to break the loudmouth out his stupor, Sagumi bustled right past them and to the middle of the boat, noticing that they would not have the luxury of any interesting animals and that the woman was either gone, or Taski had gotten extremely good at throwing his voice. Sagumi quickly turned his eyes back to the pair.

“Slap him around if you need to; sober him up quick, Kaguya. We need to be leaving soon. Over-eager, come back here if you’d please, I’d rather not get left behind because I’m waiting on you guys.”

Sagumi, the sense of irritated haste on his face and obviously in his attention as he didn’t bother to see if Tsurino followed instructions or not, quickly clasped his hands together, forming a familiar hand seal. As the man channeled the chakra to his feet, they picked up, more and more space forming between his feet and the deck of the boat by the moment. Then the man’s fingers shifted again, another familiar hand seal, and the distance between him and the deck increased exponentially, the boy shooting good seventeen or so meters in to the air. An exasperated sigh escaped him as his hands left each other and pointed downward at the deck of the boat, palms jutting forward as if reaching for the deck. He had never actually done this before and he wasn’t sure it would work, but worst case scenario was that he’d drop one. They could always swim, couldn’t they? As Sagumi’s palms stretched forward, two red, curved plates of chakra would form a few meters above the deck of the boat, enough for two to sit on one.

“Get on, we’re flying with them. It’s safe, probably. I’ll be going kinda fast so you might wanna hang on to the edge or something.” And speaking before any of them had a chance to retort, “Yes, weak sea legs, I noticed you clinging on to the boat for dear life when you walk, but I don’t have time for you to be pathetic, Tsurino. Get on now, and slap the brat there again for me.”

Spoiler:
Name: Sumashuu Style: Trigger Shield: Projection
Rank: C-S (Cx2)
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Range: 15 Meters
Clan: Sumashuu
Description: A variant of the Trigger Shield, the Trigger Shield: Projection is pretty much exactly as the name suggests. The Sumashuu is able to project their trigger shield out and instead of creating a bubble around the user, they will create a two meter wide, curve barrier as if the bubble we split apart and bent in to a shield. This projection is capable of absorbing and deflecting a myriad of threats and is capable of deflecting techniques or strikes by forcing an equal amount of chakra back into the enemy technique, typically creating opposite but equal forces that cancel one another out. The shield is capable of overpowering opposing techniques, and consequently being able to block multiples, or it can be overpowered horribly. At equal rank, the shield is capable of blocking the entirety of an opposing technique. If a higher level technique is used on the shield, the shield will shatter and cause immense internal damage to the Sumashuu, sending them into a temporary shock rendering them immobile for a post. The shield can last indefinitely, but the user is incapable of moving any muscle but the one in his arms while the jutsu is active, the Sumashuu being able to control the position of the shield through arm movement.

Name: Sumashuu Style: Wave Dash
Rank: C
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Range: One foot off the ground
Description: The Sumashuu, using their heralded fascinating capacity for chakra control, are capable of taking the basic principles of the Water Walking and Tree Climbing techniques and adapting the technique into a more potent and seal-less variant. The Wave Dash uses chakra to create resistance with the ground without the body actually touching the ground and propels the user’s body without ever coming into contact with the ground, allowing the user to hover and move without using their muscles to move. This allows the Sumashuu to maintain a stable stance and perform all manner of physical attacks while moving. Effect lasts until it is released.

Name: Sagumi Style: Air Dash
Rank: C-A (B)
Type: Ninjutsu
Element: N/A
Range:Supplementary
Clan: Sumashuu
Description: Wavedash must be activated for this technique to be utilized. This Wavedash permits the user to create a buffer of chakra between the user and the ground in order to accelerate movement and move using that buffer alone. This technique upgrades the wavedash and permits the user to apply the same effect to the air around them, allowing them to utilize the mass that various gases in the atmosphere have for the Wavedash. Permitting them to use that air to propel them. At C-rank, max altitude is thirty meters. Altitude increases by 30 per rank used.

Inoshi watched as the man spoke, and made no change to his own expression. Over eager? He was not sure where that comment came from, seeing as he was the only one that had remained silent and unmotivated to make a fool of himself from either boasting about his sword abilities, using large language, or acting pathetic. He had done none of those things, and had only judged the others as they did so. Regardless of whether he accepted that the man was powerful, attacking a genin for using language was hardly acceptable. Inoshi was not impressed by the man's maturity - to reckless and balls out.

Hand seals were formed as the ginger activated jutsu. They needed to go, and that meant that he would have to get on board the flying craft that the jounin level individual created. Inoshi leaped towards the flying saucer like contraption formed from multiple jutsu in order to not be the one that would cause delay, boarding the lifted... thing.

"I am ready."

Re: Traveling to the Fire Nation [Oahiz]

Post by Tsurino Kaguya on Tue 31 Jan - 6:34

The door slammed open as Sagumi stepped out from the cabins inside the ship. He moved quickly Tsurino looked back to Hisoka for a moment to see if he was alright. The white haired boy still looked stunned and the young Kaguya heaved a small sighed. Hisoka was going to be difficult bring back form the shock of death. Her eyes turned away from the frozen boy to look up towards teh crows nest to see the large shield object materialized under Sagumi's hands.

Her eyes widened and her mouth fell open slightly in awe. What on earth was that? Whatever it was they now had to get on to the strange scarlet object. Sagumi was tense, he was no longer moving casually or joking around. They had to move quickly and it was not a time to relax or question anything. Turning quickly to face Hisoka, Tsurino took her companion by the shoulders and shook him violently trying to snap him out of this daze. But with a sigh she halted and realized this would not help.

"Hisoka-san, come on snap out of it!"

She slapped him lightly across the face before shaking her head, this wasn't going to work either. A sudden loud voice barked down at her and Tsurino turned her attention back up towards Sagumi ordering her up quickly while not caing if he was being nice or kind about it. Tsurino stiffened, and nodded slightly he was right after all. She couldn't let herself be hindered by this irrational fear. She wouldn't let herself be consumed by it.

Nodding quickly Tsurino ducked her head quickly under Hisoka's bicep and wrapped her arm tightly around his waist, while securing his other arm over her shoulder. Then pushing the Chakra to her feet she jumped from the ground to the crows nest. Looking up towards the saucer a few feet away. She adjusted her hold on the white haired boy, hugging him tightly to her waist before shemade the final jump onto the colored saucer. Setting down the younger genin Tsurino held onto Hisoka's small vest and the other hand went to grab onto the lip of the strange object that held them up. Though he would be able to hold on himself the idea of having to go down and get him if he had fallen worried her more than what they were about to do. Flying quickly over the ocean in a saucer was both insane and reckless. But there was no other way to get to the embassy in time.

Another sigh of exasperation escaped him as he waited for the people below to hop on the trigger shields. He was considerably less confident about the venture now, after Tsurino was forced to drag the loudmouth on to the platform. Hadn’t these kids ever been stabbed in the face before? What were they teaching them at the academy these days? In the good old days, they were trained to stand still as fists and knives were hurled at their faces and if they blinked they got flogged for a week. Ah, the good old days. Of course the more he thought about that the more he felt like an old man and the boy of barely nineteen was far too young to feel that old. He’d have to be less condescending to the “kids these days.” He could also pretend they were five instead of teenagers, that’d work too.

As soon as he was sure that all three of the genin were secure, Sagumi lifted and lowered both his arms, as if he were lifting dumbbells. He needed to make sure the Trigger Shields could support their weight; he hadn’t done this before after all. Luckily, it seemed that they could. Sagumi feet slowly lifted farther and farther in to the air, giving them a last, few precious moments to decide if they really wanted to follow through with it or jump back on to the boat and wait for them to come back. There was an emphasis on the word few however as Sagumi quickly shot off in pursuit of the Tengakage’s feathered friend, his legs seeming to glide along the air as if it were ice and he was a speed skater with a jet engine strapped to his back. They’d catch up, sooner rather than later.
