Finally Something Worthwhile - Inoshi Finds Out Something! [Private; Velo] [NK]
Inoshi's walk was quickened through the darkening hours of the night. He had traveled the entire village as he had been doing recently for the past little while, always looking for information on the Ryoku clan - or at least something about their members. Inoshi remembered fighting with the other Ryoku - the only other individual that had gone by that last name. Since that day, Inoshi had been going around, asking people that looked shady if they knew anything about the Ryoku. Most outright denied knowing that such a name existed, however some looked around them as if they felt unsafe by just the question. Inoshi wanted to know why so much fear surrounded her - Kuro, that was. He had tasted the bitter and heartless emotion of the Ryoku while battling with the younger Hisoka Ryoku.
Inoshi was completely covered in a black cloak that had a hood in order to cast his face into shadow. Other than that, he was dressed in his normal attire, fully equipped with his ninja tools. He had learned that, through multiple experiences of highly sudden action, when asking about this individual, it was best to come prepared. However, Inoshi had recently thought of a new way to implement the question to individuals - a strategy that used his Yamanaka jutsu.
However, he had only drawn blanks, and all research that he had done had all come back to the Shikigami clan - seemingly related, but not the same. He was sure that it had been Ryoku. Not Shikigami.
Inoshi walked along the edges of Kirigakure, by the docks. Inoshi hated the feel of the area, and it always had creepily had its effect of haunting him out completely. Inoshi was beginning to think that he was going to be unable to find information from the way he was searching. Looking around him, Inoshi scanned for individuals, always taking care to scan for enemies when in Kirigakure - not known for being safe. Something about it gave him frighting hope for hist quest to find out about this woman... he didnt want to believe that he would stop at anything.

As the night drug on, he stood in silence at the docks, silently staring out at the shoreline, secretly thinking of the things that happened at this dock. It was old and abandoned nowadays, save for the birds that flew about the area flocking the skies, watching. But in truth, he had been meditating in this spot for a full day now. The End had a slight emotional attachment to this dock, and this was not something he wished. The End, cloaked to such an extent, that he was all but invisible, but in such a misty world, no man could possibly see him. Nor would they ever see him. And he watched as birds planted paper bombs on the bottom of the pier. The End had to remove what little ties he had to common emotions. He was after all, The End.
As he stood on the Pier, it seemed that a new being had entered the docks. His plans would have to wait for another day. For now the birds flew away, and The End pointed his crossbow at the new comer so silently, not even a bat would have heard him move. The End had one thing to thank that woman for. She made him even colder to normal emotions than normal. If this boy attempted to do anything hostile in this area, he would quickly find a bolt through his heart, the boy himself was under twenty meters away from the crossbow tip, and the pier was narrow. There was no place to run, low visibility, and less than half a seconds time to react if this boy chose to do something.
The End enjoyed it that way. He enjoyed the odds stacked in his favor. And thats how they would stay as far as he was concerned. He was the phantom of death. And his birds watched the boy as they flew about the sky in circles, as though they were a warning sign. This boy had better have a good reason to be here.

Inoshi continued walking. Something about the pier smelled of evil energy. He didn't like evil energy, but it gave him hope that he might one day find something out about the woman. That Ryoku. Inoshi had spent many days wishing that he had known her - although now his interest in her was maximized. He had seen these docks many times before, and had completely memorized every single thing about them -ever curve, every color, and every area that was weakest in the wood, among many other things. He saw it completely accurately with his photographic memory.
Birds flew around the area, all seeming to move around the dock in a suspicious way. It was all the more creepy that way. Inoshi walked closer to water. It seemed that it was a normal night - completely covered in mist.
"Ugh... one day..."
Inoshi spoke to himself as he walked closer to the dock's edge, not knowing that he had passed the invisible figure, not looking out for anything like an attack, and thus not realizing his surroundings much.
"One day... I'll find you..."
Inoshi's fingers groped at the small deck box that held all of his information card. As soon as he pulled out the top card, the card's image faded onto it, showing the green haired woman that had appeared all over the more low end parts of Kirigakure in paintings and drawings, as the woman that had tried to end the failed Mizukage. Inoshi had come into contact with her image multiple times, all mostly drawn or painted. Almost nothing as far as information was on her card - aside from the info stating: Possible sibling, or clan member, named Hisoka Ryoku.
"Kuro... Ryoku... Hmmmm..."
Inoshi flipped the card multiple times through his fingers, before putting it back in the card box, carelessly showing the card off to his surroundings, not expecting to be being watched.

((Way more than 48h. I am using the 48h rule now
although it does not do much.)
Inoshi's nimble fingers simply slid over the deck box. He felt so insignificant when compared to the legends like Kuro. He was rather unable to compare to images like her. It seemed that her common sense had been unable prevail. He wished that he had been there when it had all gone down. He wished that he could have seen the interaction between Kuro and the current Mizukage before she had been killed. And what a battle that must have been.
Inoshi's feet wagged over the water. It seemed that no one in the village had known anything about the woman. It seemed that she had managed to do the impossible, and remain completely hidden from outside world contact. An interesting thing that as soon as she was brought into the outside world as such a major individual, she had been killed. What was it that that cursed Ryoku was hiding from others. Or was it the Mizukage that was hiding things.
"Damn!" Inoshi spoke out, his temper starting to get a hold of him. He was not used to being at the mercy of other things. This did not mean that he was often not the one that was having to submit in battles, but rather that his mind was normally able to figure anything out. If he had been there, things would have been different, regardless of his inability to fight. He wanted to know everything.
Inoshi's breathing was starting to cause small clouds against the already misty night. It was rather cold, and Inoshi was glad that he was wearing warm clothes in order to protect him against that cold.

((48h ruling you again. xD ))
Inoshi's thoughts wound up in his head, he was sick of not knowing about things that he wanted to know about. He hated the fact that he was weak both in battle, and in this situation. He was supposed to excel in gathering information, but this Kuro woman had made it much to hard to get anything on her. She was truly invisible. How had she managed to pull that off? Even the most criminal minds had something on them. If not an employer, than an eye witness somewhere, here or there.
The cold clung to Inoshi's body, and threatened him with the inability to remain here in comfort. He did not want to simply sit down and wait, but he had searched all other areas for information about the woman. He did not even know what this woman was so important to him, but she had become a challenge, and Inoshi never gave up on challenges. He had to prove it to himself that he was better than the system, that there was one area that he could out smart even a woman like Kuro. To see through her invisibility. Was it too much to ask? No.
The image of the other Ryoku flashed through Inoshi's head. He knew, somewhere in the back of his head, that it was going to have to come to this at some point or another - another confrontation. Something more serious. Something that he would have to prepare for. But first, Inoshi would search for any slight mistake that the woman had made in her secrecy - one last time.
Just then, Inoshi picked up on a strange feeling, as if someone was there - looking at him. Inoshi did not hear anything over the sound of the calm ocean against the dock, and the slight squeaking of old wood. Turning his head over his shoulder, Inoshi murmured a loud murmur, "Hello? Is anyone there?"
He felt weak in this environment. He knew nothing about it. Taking out a card, Inoshi began to input all of his surroundings into the paper database for later knowledge about the area.

Inoshi lost interest. Picking himself up, he thought it right to finally remove himself from this night, and retire until the next morning. He had all the time in the world to research this mysterious woman that he was trying to find out more and more about. Someone that was precious and deer to the village's ghetto and underground assassination services. He would not stop tracking and researching the Ryoku, and in doing so, the Shikigami. He would master their own arts, regardless of the fact that he could not use or manipulate paper in the same way. He would render every attack made by a shikigami or Ryuko to be nothing more than some paper being thrown without force. Nothing. Not at all.

Lol. This is going to get really crappy length scores, seeing as it only has enough for a single length point. Oh well.
PAC'd.
