A Grimm Dream (Open for all! I promise this will be interesting!)

The Moon shined over, bigger and brighter than one could imagine, but not over the dark-blue sands of the desert, nor above the dome-like houses that kept the inhabitants of Sunagakure warm throughout the unforgiving nights in this desolate place. No. It shone upon a forest, shrowded in mist, a mist so thick, you could taste it's revolting flavour. Amidst this eerie place, splashes of water could be heard at the far end of the woods. The culprit was a tall young woman, cloaked in red, adorning a longbow and a quiver full of arrows. Her heavy steps stomped over the soaked soil, as she ran with such persistency, that even a cheetah would turn away in shame. But there was a reason for her resolve - the nameless girl had been wounded severly in the left arm, but even worse was the predicament she was in...rabid beasts, at least twice as big as the frail-looking woman and perhaps far stronger, were on her tail. Their stamina was relentless, and they stopped not, only to sniff for a lead to the girl, with which they gave off again to the chase. Even so, the one cloaked in red had a considerable distance from the creatures, however, she knew it was a matter of time before they found her. She took out a piece of old, crumbled parchment and a duck feather from a satchel, strapped onto her waist. Using her blood, the girl began to write on the paper:
''To whoever gets this, I beseech you, please, please help us! Follow this parchment, when you get here, ask for Cinderella! Tell her it's from Red-Cap!''

She cursed, as she felt the savages' lust for death nearing more and more. The female archer took off the longbow and an arrow from her quiver, wrapped the paper around the arrow, and despite her acking arm, she pulled the bow's string with the arrow as far as her strength allowed her and aimed at the only thing still visible - the giant Moon. As the girl let go, the arrow gave a swishing sound, as if cutting through the buttery mist, disappearing into it.
-- This is my last hope... - remarked the so-called Red-Cap, as she turned around slowly to face her impending hunters.
The dog-like beasts ran with ferocity that matched their bloodthirst, they even stumbled upon roots and rock while running towards her - their rage blinding them. The girl thought nothing of the fear-instilling beasts, however - she remained with a stoic composure, as she took three more arrows from the quiver, preparing them for their killer journey towards the chasers... Closer and closer, faster and faster, you could almost smell their foul scent... but she smiled...
-- Come on, you motherf-

Sunagakure was the reincarnation of an oasis in the desert. During the night, it was still and lifeless, while in bright daylight, such as today, it was streaming with life. It was a day like every one, but at the same time, like none other. You could see people form all ages and colours, mashing up in the regular market place, filled with wonders brought from distant lands or those, commonly found in the Wind Country. And here is where our story begins...
-- Imagine boy - gruntled a skinny old man, clad in regular desert clothing, as he held a blue-eyes boy of 14 in red attire - you could have the whole world at your feet, this is the bargain of the century!
-- Well, I don't really want to rule the world... I just want to remake ''Aladdin'', hmmm - spoke the young ninja towards the merchant - are you sure there's a genie in there?
-- I swear on the grave of my children! (Fool, I don't have any children!) - asured him the sly geezer, as he pushed a bronze, dusty old desert lamp into his hands - But, you have to pay for it, before you rub it!
-- Hmmmm...Ok, fair trade I guess. How much was it again, 10,000?
-- Yes, yes! - te old man's eagerness became ever stronger, as his eyes fixated on the young shinobi's wallet. As murphy's law would have it, however, just before Setto would take out the money, a swishing sound pierced through the noise, as an arrow landed right between the merchant and the boy, shocking the old fart to the ground. After shacking off the surprise, the youngster saw a piece of paper crudely wrapped around it. As he carefully unrwapped it, Setto began to read quietly. His eyes became larger than plates, as he finished the last sentence...
-- YEEEEEEEEEESSSS!!! - the fourteen-year-old boy jumped in the air as high as gravity allowed him - My boring days are over!! - he screamed right infront of the old man's face, adding confusion to his shock.
-- Wait, what about the lamp!? - asked the frail merchant, who started to question his heart condition.
-- No time, old man, I gotta go find me a team! - yelled Setto joyfully, with the largest, most heart-worming grin you've ever seen. The young ninja did not wait a single moment more, as he ran off with full speed towards an unknown location...

- A head of green was whizzing by the gates, as the male had been dispatched. A guard has sprained a muscle : no big deal, and Loki needed some air. That was simple and efficient. Being outside after being cooped up in the hospital all this time, it was refreshing and good. The sun, air, wind. It was really nice on his skin and temper, to say the least. With a heavy sigh, the male applied a balm to the guard's arm, almost lusciously doing so : his lab coat and shape definitely made him look like a female, as the male just gave a light smile. He even had the curves, as the male stood up, and with a soft voice told the man that he would be fine. The medic got up, and smiled, before seeing a young one bounding towards them. The woman simply rose an eyebrow, and lifted her hand. ''Stop it right there!'' said the voice, as if earning the attention of the boy. Hopefully, the charging bullet of a person would stop, just right near the green haired one. But the medic would have to wait and see.

He would've passed by without any considerance, but the moment Setto heard those words, he hit the breaks of his legs and stopped to see who it was. What he saw made him widen his eyes and blush as furiously as an erupting volcano, it was one of the most beautiful girls he'd ever seen - there stood a medical ninja with hair as if flowing grass through a meadow and eyes resembling a prism of green that pierced through one's heart and soul, much like young Setto's.
-- The heart is stricken by such radiance! - exclaimed the red-clad boy, as he gazed further into his object of infatuation. At this moment, he remembered why he jolted off in the first place - he had to find someone to travel with, to the place written on his parchment, a place he had but one clue where it could be...and he didn't have much time either, he had to find someone quickly, as the matter appeared to be urgent. And then it hit him, she was a medical ninja and could be of much help to him, plus the girl was smoking hot! Setto minded no courtesy, as he pointed towards her:
-- My fine lady, you have to come with me!
(Mine's a bit short, too, but it's gonna get bigger with time.)

- The charging bull soon stopped, to the great amazement, and subsequent amusement, of the feminine looking male. As the boy stared up at him, and started to almost visibly cause hearts to fly, Loki knew that the boy had no idea of the true gender. The boy was all dressed up in red, as the female looking medic opened that delicate mouth to say something, but was interrupted with a sudden follow me. ''Excuse me?'' said the woman, not visibly bristling, but the tone of voice almost hitting that spot. The womanly boy blinked and shrugged, before placing both hands on those nice hips. ''And why exactly do I have to go with you, never mind the fact that I have no name, and more so, where would this even be?'' said the woman, pursing her lips almost in thought, whilst Loki was roaring with laughter on the inside. This would be interesting to say the least.
[No probs, don't worreh 'bout it : sorry mine are sorta shortish, but they'll get better the more we go into it. xD]

The response Setto recieved was as expected as responses got, but nothing for the young boy was to be 'as expected', however...
He slowly lowered his hand that was pointing at the green-headed medical ninja and with a stern face approached her with confidenent steps, up until their faces met but a few centemeters away. Setto's sapphire-blue eyes pierced through as a fine spear, until the silence was broken by the very same boy:
-- Are you out of your - he began softly - freaking mind!! - yelled the red-clad ninja from the bottom of his lungs - What do you mean ''Why''!? Wait... - a sudden revelation hit the youngster - ...you must be a foreigner, otherwise you'd know the answer! - he held with a face robbed of all cheerfulness, as he reached for within his jacket.
-- You wanna know why? - began the boy, taking a few steps back whilst he got out a relatively small blue book from one of the inner pockets of his red overcoat. The otherwise very plain booklet contained the title ''The Records of My Life'' written in gold on the hard cover. Without giving a chance for a response, Setto waved over the golden title and said ''Genzongo no Jutsu''. In an instant the glittering words came alive and flew from from the solid blue cover, resembling a butterfly escaping a cocoon to begin its journey in the freedom of its wings. Guided by the red-clad boy's hands, they made a small spiral and unexpectedly hit the young man's stomach. On that spot appeared what seemed to be a TV screen and one by one you could see various memories from the user's life, with Setto narrating each one:
-- This is me graduating. This is me when I met Nami. This is me on my first mission. This is me when I had diarrh...errr. Next! This is me after I failed that mission! And this is me after that, walking around the desert looking for lost children. The same here again, and here, and here, and here and HERE! - exclaimed the young ninja, as he waved his hand and the screen disappeared. Pure honesty was furiously raging in his soul as he looked the green-head right in the eyes.
-- This has been going over and over, and over and over, and over again for more than a year! This is what a genin is condemed to do around here, unless this - he raised his hand, holding the piece of parchment he found wrapped on the arrow earlier - comes from nowhere as a ray of hope, that your life might get a little better! So please... I ask of you, no, beg of you, come with me! I can't do this alone! I'll explain everything to you, just say 'Yes'!...
(Sorry, I kinda had to rush this!)

'No need to go around doing that anytime soon.'
The thought was animated and cheerful, the kind of nonverbal self-communication that one got just from a high. The form of aforementioned high was clasped in his lips, what some people called cancer sticks, but to him it was a means of salvation, perhaps it was only a forecaster to his weak mental state, but it didn't matter, he was alright. As long as he had his death sticks with him.
Chuckling once again at a statement that possessed no houmous capacity he quickly dressed. Placing his normal outfit on, it did make him stick out like a sore thumb out here, but no matter. He really didn't mind.
Clashing black and white all over him body, Tabris stepped out to meet the sunshine, at least while it felt non-aggressive. Wearing black tended to make him sweat easily.
Tabris stood, his jacket thrown over his shoulder. The white gloves cupped in one hand. He had observed the highspeed blur move from his vantage point, but the singular occurrence raised no concern to the dark skinned man. However he followed the path the boy took, his long legs covering the distance at a decent page. If required he would be able to keep pace, but for now it seemed that he'd be able to keep him within eye-shot, however he quickly discovered his quarry had ceased the rapid movement and was now rigorously verbalizing his apparent displeasure over some matter. From the back it looked like he was talking to a female.
He gave the back of the new party member the once over, quickly going over her stance and apparent disposition.
As it was the background noise seemingly took pleasure in perverting the young boy's words, giving out the worst possible impression:
"I met Nami-" now the insects in the background decided to make their presence know, "-over and over, and over and over, and over again-" then came in a burst of ambient bird song, and drowned out the voice until; "-condemed to do-" this time it was Tabris's own fault, but seriously, listening to this was like a lagging radio. The disrupting noise in this case was a yawn, "-ray of hope, that your life might get a little better!-" Wasn't too back this time, it seemed like the Gods of Wind had disrupted the lilting tones of the young male, he wasn't a bad speaker, even if what he was saying was a little strange, "-I ask of you, no beg of you,-", curiouser and even more curiouser. By now he was within distance that they would be able to hear his footsteps against the ground. Now it was the flies...the Lords of the animal kingdom had decided that it was time for a brief intervention of some sort. "-just say 'Yes'!". Well that was better, but it was time for Tabris to make himself known, he stopped a meter away from the pair, and spoke in what he hoped was a calm voice, but after hearing what sounded like a bid for some affection, he was hesitent.
Turning two somber golden orbs he spoke; >I bid both you you a good 'morn. I trust everything is okay?<

- . . .
What the hell?
Loki's face went from amused, to confused, to amused, to confused to amused to conf- you get the point. At one point, during the rant, and the cast jutsu, the male had taken out a senbon, and glanced at the neck of the boy, of course, after putting the memories away. The cross-dresser let out a heavy sigh, before a bright smile plucked itself on the seeming girl's lips. ''Sure!'' she said, even as someone walked up to them. The girl's head turned, for a single, daring second, a pure killer intent flashed, as if being interrupted was not pleasant. But it was come and gone, fading away on the wind like any sort of muse that was for this ramble of words. Very much so. Just to add to general confusion, a voice pipped up in the back of Loki's mind. 'Eat them Later.'
[Sorry for wait and shortness X.X]

Re: A Grimm Dream (Open for all! I promise this will be interesting!)
Some people enjoy being 'flashed', others don't. Tabris was one of those people who did not enjoy it.
But first we must define 'flashed' in Shinobi terms. The first thing that comes to mind is a man or woman exposing their undergarments accidentally.
The Shinobi variation of this world is much different. It refers to a 'flashing' of killer intent. It's the hallmark of a Shinobi, the pure will to see something die, over and over again, repeated and shown from non-verbal cues such as body language and sheer expression of chakra. And getting flashed just showed how volatile a situation really was, how quickly it could slip out of hand.
During his stroll up to meet them it had been amusing to watch the female's face change expressions like a celebrity changes clothes.
And thus he was flashed.
He pondered it for moment, was returning the flash worth it? Was it perhaps smart to go around goading an unknown person into combat? Putting on his best 'rape-face', he returned fire. He of coursed noticed the glinting Senbon within her hand, clenched professionally. Looks like she'd just shown off what her specialty was, but there was still the possibility that it wasn't there was any purpose, and the way she held it was accidental. But you didn't live long in this world without getting a little paranoid. His own burst of killing intent was minor compared to her own, but enough to warn her that he did posses the capabilities to defend himself.
The other male in this situation apparently hadn't commented yet on his arrival. Strange, but he'd wait for the fellow. During which time he would satisfy himself. Quickly procuring a old version of the pipe, he clenched the instrument between his teeth, while his hand proceeded to go serching for two things. A lighter and a small bag. Leaving the two pieces of stone in his other hand, he poured some of his own poison into the pipe. Placing the little bag in his pocket, the two hands went co-op and rose up to the tip of the pipe where they proceeded too create a flurry of sparks which then ignited his own special mix within the pipe.
He inhaled for a few seconds before letting out a swath of steam from his nose. Much better, now he didn't have to worry about making the first move to kill that green haired girl.

You could see tumbleweed rolling by the awkward trio. The sudden change of the atmosphere from social to tense made Setto switch his personality as well - he was no longer in a social environment, he was in a pre-battle one, meaning that he could now take on the role of a shinobi, a position he played spectacularly. He didn't know what exactly was happening, but he could feel a momentary urge to kill from the medical ninja, and to make it even better, her acts seemed as though she was hiding something. Not only that, but that one unexpected arrival of a new character on the stage meant nothing but trouble, if we take back to the numerous encounters of the like, with people who caused quite the conflict over seemingly no reason at all or sometimes, because of misunderstandings. Whatever was the case here, it was perhaps too late to apprehend it, which meant that the red-clad youngster had no choice but to prepare for anything, anything at all, with his free hand ready to grab a kunai while the one, holding his memory book, was ready to manifest any word of use. He stared back and forth between the greenheaded girl and this strange new person, who smoked his pipe as if he was Sherlock Holmes...
-- So...what the hell is going on here? - beseeched the Honhazumi clansman, his eyes still not losing their lock with those of the people before him.
