Water Country

Kirigakure OOC Area

The OOC area fo the Water Country, and anything within it. The subforums here are out of character, that means there is no rping going on here. This is a purely information and announcent board, allowing the users to intergrate into the community. The OOC area itself is used for sign ups, roster updates, and other such things.

Mist Entrance

This is where all the entrances into the hidden mist villages are located. These are the only entrances into the village. There is high pressure winds around the cliffs, making them impossible to climb without being truly resourceful : the perpetual fight between hot and cold produce the ever lasting mist that surrounds the island and the village itself. There's a few safe pathways, and these pathways require an experienced guide, for once within 2 miles of the coast, the winds are quite high and frequent.

Kirigakure no Sato

The village hidden in the mist : this is where the shinobi military is mostly located. Established on one of two entrances, the village watches over the sea in the front, and the country behind it. Walled, and beautifully daunting in it's figure, many are in awe when they view this city for the first time.

Kizoku Province

The Province immidiately behind the village : due to it's location, this area has prospered greatly, flourishing to a beautiful extent. Most of the living areas are found here, due to it's proximity to the village itself. Also, the aristocrats seem to dominate this part, flaunting money and power : it's not uncommon to find powerful people and clans here.

Mame Province

Those hard at work are often found in this province, which is edging a bit more towards the southern swamps. An excellent area for military training, confinment and other such activities that the locale of the village can not truly provide.

Suiun Province

The northen most province, it has unfortunately the least of everything : it is considered the dredge of Mizu no Kuni. The people here are a bit more edgy, but if you want to be left alone, going to this province is the right choice, as no one cares whom you are, just as long as you don't bother them.

Levi Island

An Island that is refered to in Kirigakure Lore : although no one has gotten to it in hundreds of years, it appeared off the costline not too long ago. Although, almost no one can get to the island itself, as it seems there is a presence there. -Limited to S-ranks only-

Joubon Island

This island was once called the devils island, though the prison has been broken down and the hidden Akusai base had been partially broken down. After his own faked death and exile, one man spent all of his creativity and chakra on the creation of a new island. Having given up his dreams and desires, he wanted to create a haven for wild life, a place no one would ever be able to find. The island itself is constantly covered in a thick bank of mist that gives the appearance that there is nothing out there but open see. When one sets foot on the island, the first thing one would see is the pure, tropical beauty of the island, as well as the tons of wild life living in it, ranging from over a hundred different kinds of birds, to a multitude of wolves, foxes, bears and snakes. Though only three people know exactly where it is after the entire islands position was altered, it is a hidden retreat where only animals life, yet all a person needs to survive is present. Thanks to an unknown source, the island is protected

Terraform Island - Outpost

The largest island outside of the mainland of the Water country itself, Terraform Island is a new name for a familiar mass of land. The island itself is located five miles directly south east of the coast of mainland Mizu no Kuni and is an expansive, almost massive island, stretching from the world’s middle to the -15 latitude mark. The island itself has recently undergone a renovation; refugees from the lost village of Sunagakure have altered the land to their liking, the entirety of the landscape now being covering in sand. At the dead center of the island, the refugees have set up a settlement for their wandering kinsmen, utilizing the heat and natural hot springs to form an oasis that serves as a wonderful tourist location. Numerous people in the town are trained survivors of Sunagakure however and their natural environment permits them to put up a violent defense as one of Kirigakure’s outposts.

The Eye of Hiz - Outpost

Watching over and looking down on the shores of Mizu no Kuni with thundering waterfalls on its flanks, the Eye of Hiz was once a spiritual place and continues to stand watch on the shores of the Water Country to protect its fledglings from any harm outside of physical pain and/or death. Recent exploration beneath the lighthouse itself has revealed multiple underground passageways that were carved by people before the age of ninja and perforating all throughout the tiny island with which the lighthouse sets.

Fort Tenebrae - Outpost

Fort Tenebrae is nestled on the land bridge connection the two portions of the Mizu no Kuni mainland and passing through here is the only surefire way to reach Kirigakure. The fort itself is built in to the side of an impassible set of mountains that had originally separated the two parts of the mainland and serves as a gateway to the tunnel leading through the mountain range. The Fort itself is almost always cast in shadows given the expansive mountains surrounding it and gets but a few hours of daylight at most per day. The tunnels themselves are completely devoid of light, forcing travelers to consult a guide often.
