  • Land Of Darkness

Ryokugakure is a barren and destroyed, war ridden village within the lands of Mori no Shima - now called Land of Darkness. The village of Sanringakure was a prospering and peaceful village until a reign of spirits attacked, leaving the surface of the village desecrated, buried in rubble, a series of broken down buildings, and boiling violence. The Land of Darkness is entirely made up of a main island which holds Ryokugakure, Village hidden in Darkness. This island is located in the middle of the ocean between Bear Country and Waterfall Country. While there is still activity above ground, the actual village is built underground - built with an industrial flair and look. Hustle and bustle, and organized chaos leads the world under the surface of the war torn lands. Bright lights, metal buildings, neon lights, and a seemingly constant state of night party life make up the actual village. This said, multiple tunnels rise to the surface, creating hidden locations and outposts above ground to keep lookout for attackers or enemies. There is only a single entrance into the island, guarded by heavily fortified natural defenses. This entrance is through the Akki Harbor, where a very particular path must be taken to avoid destructive rocks and jagged land masses under the water from wrecking and sinking an entering boat or ship, ultimately causing the heavy waves to smash what is left into the sharp, blade like earthen weapons.

  • Water Country

The Land of Water is located in the North-Eastern corner of the map. It is composed of many islands, with each having its own unique traditions. The country's weather is typically cool and full of mist and lakes. In some places, like the area where Haku grew up, it is very cold and snows quite a bit. Little is currently known about it and it apparently leaves itself out of most political affairs, which is understandable considering that it is an island relatively remote from the continent containing the other four major countries. Its hidden village is Kirigakure, the Village Hidden in the Mist.
